1978 – 1997 (19 years)SwedenX2 was a ”different fish in the pond”. We started using heavy metal in the theatre as early as 1978 (Blue Cheer’s Vincebus Eruptum, first album from 1968) and did a rewrite of August Strindbergs ”Miss Julie where, in the end, Jean don´t give the razor to Julie. Instead he moves into a borderline state, i.e. gets mad. We made numerous productions, among them original plays by me, and stuff by Fassbinder and Horváth.
”Europeon Son” was performed at the Södra Teatern, Stockholm (later to be transposed into a radio play).
We did the original play ”Syster/Syster” (Sister/Sister) at the Skeppsholmens Torpedverkstad.

We also produced the play about Bessie Smith, ”Jag var Bessie” (I Was Bessie), that was performed at HG5, Stockholm with Richard Sseruwagi in the male lead, and

I also directed several radio plays, including ”European Son” (which was an adaption of a stage production) and ”Idag går natten in i mig” (Today The Night Falls Into Me); a play about the famonus swedish painter Carl Fredrik Hill. Owe Stefansson did Carl Fredik Hill. Included music from Carl Orffs work and from C.O:s and Gunild Keetmans ”Gassenhauer”.
Europeon Son was a collage of european youth voices, mixed with blazing rock music; The Runaways, David Bowie, Roy A Loney and other performers.
At the Controls was a story about a strange love, the man wants to monitor his wife every moment, with violent results.
